Wellness starts from within.
About Me
I grew up in Maryland and graduated with a degree in Studio Art from the University of Maryland. I then graduated with my Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine from Nova Southeastern University in 2015 before completing a community-based psychiatry residency at Larkin Community Hospital in South Florida, where I learned about the art of practicing psychiatry in multiple settings.
I love working in the mental health field and am so grateful to have found the specialty of Psychiatry. I am humbled and honored to sit with people, learn about them, and work with them to improve their quality of life. My main focus is medication management, and my areas of interest include depression, anxiety, women’s health, young adults and integrative medicine.
My Method.
My approach to improving mental health is multi-faceted and may include combining medication and psychotherapy, along with making lifestyle changes to improve your overall well-being. Some examples of these lifestyle changes include optimizing sleep hygiene, increasing the amount and frequency of physical exercise, volunteering in your community, cultivating social connections, and spending time in nature.
I look forward to getting to know you and helping you improve your quality of life!
